Press release published by Suntuity Electric
Folsom, NJ. 24 July, 2015: Suntuity Electric is pleased to announce the completion of construction and the commencement of commercial operation of three solar systems for the S.E.T Local 172 training center in Folsom, NJ.
The system comprises of a ground mount ballasted system, a roof mount ballasted system and a roof mount S-5 racking system. Components consisted of Lightway modules, Solectria central inverters, Genmounts ballasted racking and S-5 racking systems. The project was interconnected to S.E.T Local 172’s electrical systems so as to be able to net-meter electricity generated on-site through the solar system.
The project had to overcome technical challenges so as to be able to connect to the local Utility. As part of the deployment, the local transformers and utility circuit relay systems had to be upgraded to enable the system to back feed any excess power generation into the Utility grid.
Dan Javan, President of Suntuity Electric commented: “We are excited to have been able to deliver this project and commend members of our engineering and delivery teams that rose up to the technical challenges of the S.E.T. Local 172 project, without which we would not have been able to meet and exceed the expectations of our customer.”
